D&G Contracting delivered the internal partitioning and acoustic treatment package throughout the new two-storey building. Using Siniat fire-rated partition systems, our team formed all internal partitions across the school, helping to create classrooms, circulation areas and supporting facilities that meet the demands of a busy educational environment.
The specified partition systems provide excellent durability together with the required levels of fire resistance and acoustic performance. These qualities are particularly important within school buildings, where robust construction, occupant safety and effective separation between teaching spaces must all be carefully considered.
Our works also included the installation of more than 800 acoustic wall panels and ceiling baffles across classrooms and communal areas. Positioned throughout the building, these specialist products help absorb unwanted sound, reduce reverberation and improve speech clarity.
Effective acoustic control creates calmer, more comfortable spaces in which pupils can concentrate, communicate and learn. It is equally valuable within busy communal areas, helping to manage noise generated by large numbers of students moving through and using the building.
