Now known as Benefact House, it brings the company’s Gloucester-based teams together within one purpose-built workplace.

Working alongside main contractor Kier, D&G Contracting completed the steel framing systems, internal partitions, suspended ceilings and firestopping throughout the building. The scale of the open-plan floor plates required careful planning and coordination to ensure each element was delivered efficiently and integrated correctly with the wider construction programme.

Our partitioning works helped form the building’s offices, meeting rooms, circulation areas and supporting facilities. The systems provide the durability, acoustic separation and fire performance required within a busy commercial headquarters while retaining the flexibility needed to accommodate future changes to the internal layout.

An extensive suspended ceiling system was installed across the open-plan office spaces, creating a consistent and professional finish. The ceiling grid was carefully coordinated with lighting, ventilation, fire detection and other building services to produce a clean, organised appearance across each floor. The firestopping package formed another essential part of our works, helping to maintain the integrity of fire-rated walls and floors wherever services passed through compartment lines.

Completed to a high standard, the project demonstrates D&G Contracting’s ability to deliver multiple specialist disciplines across large commercial developments. Our work contributed to a bright, flexible and high-quality workplace designed to meet the long-term needs of its occupants.
